“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” – Aristotle
What an inspiring quote.
It’s not quite so inspiring when you realise that what you repeatedly do is waste time. You’re a habitual time-waster.
It’d be bad enough if you were wasting other people’s time, but you’re not, you’re wasting your own time. It might not be down to laziness, it might just be ineptitude, but either way, it’s not good.
As a small business owner, you can’t afford to waste time. You know the old saying “time is money”? This is true.
The way you fill your diary – whether that’s using Ratedpeople, advertising on Google, calling people on a waiting list or just waiting for the phone to ring – is a huge waste of your time.
Here’s another quote:
“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” – Einstein
The chances are, you do that too. So not only do you waste your own precious time, you keep doing it and wondering why business isn’t any better.
What you should do is try something different to fill your diary and then, when it gets results, make a habit out of that.
So try me:now. It’s free, we’re the first to do it, and it might just change your life.
